Nestled in the heart of the enchanting Shenandoah Valley, Lewis Cattle Company has been a cherished part of this land since its inception in the 1780s. Here, on our sprawling farm which spans over 1,000 acres, nature herself plays the role of the artist, providing our cattle with vast meadows to explore, lush grass to nourish them, and a pure, bubbling spring where all creatures can find refreshment.

This story of land and legacy is woven into the very fabric of our family. In 2015, owners and head farmers, John and Libby Lewis, embraced the responsibility of stewarding this historic farm. For John, the connection runs deep; his roots intertwine with this land, having been raised here alongside his family. Today, the Lewis family, including their sons, primarily resides in Richmond, VA, yet their hearts remain tethered to their ancestral home. It's a place where cherished memories are made, where generations have laughed and toiled together.

Almost every week, the Lewis family returns to the farm, not as mere caretakers, but as a loving, united family. And now, with immense joy and gratitude, they extend an invitation to all of Virginia.
